Project Profile: Charleston Marine, Inc. - Complete Exterior Restoration
After 35 years, this local marina showed signs of surface degradation including color fading, flaking, pitting, chipping and oxidation. They elected to aesthetically improve the appearance of the business by restoring the entire exterior of their facility.
CIPS was contracted to:
Remove all signage from the building.
All metal panels were power washed.
All rusted areas were wire brushed and primed.
Loose and missing fasteners were replaced.
Fiberglass panels were power washed, gel coated and covered with plastic during the painting process.
All metal wall panels, soffit and rake trim received two coats of paint.
All metal window framing received two coats of paint.
All concrete, brick and wood surfaces around the perimeter of the facility were primed, before receiving two additional coats of paint.
Removed and installed new commercial gutters and downspouts that specifically matched the profile of the existing building.
